Java Jazz Coffee Shop

March 04, 2012
Have you heard of a homey cafe that also exhibits artworks? Well, here’s not a typical cafe you can see in malls. Actually the location of this place is perfect, a cafe you can find in the coolest place near Manila—Tagaytay.

Java Jazz cafe offers delicious hot drinks and cold drinks, as well as pasta and rice meals in an affordable prices. They also have their own version of hot chocolate drink known as Tsokolate-Ah! (Thick hot chocolate with milk) partnered with mamon tustado.

While sipping your hot drink, you can hear the low music playing on the background which really adds to the homey ambiance. Java Jazz is a cozy place which also features artworks hanging on the walls and some are placed on the floor known as Art on the Floor (Sining sa Sahig). The artworks are all made by local artists and all the displays have price tags. Also, adjacent to the cafe is an art gallery where you can find more artworks.

The place is just part of an entire house, actually it’s a lodging house. As you can see in some of the photos, the shop is in the attic that’s why it has a low-ceiling.
Now, if you’re on your way to Tagaytay don’t forget to visit this place. It’s worth it because of the good people, ambiance, and truly delicious drinks and pasta. It’s just in front of Monte Vista hotel, take the road going to Tagaytay Picnic grove. Now, i’m calling all Starbucks, Mocha blends, and Figaro drinkers, to give Java Jazz a try. And oh, by the way, only few people know this place, so you won’t have problem with crowd or noise.
